C. Christopher Lee

Chris Lee is a professor and department chair of Management & Organization at Central Connecticut State University, teaching Management and Business Analytics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has taught courses such as Management Systems, Operations Management, Fundamentals of Management and Organization, Strategic Management, Graduate Special Project (MBA capstone), Applied Business Research (MBA capstone), Business Decision Models, Web Analytics, etc.

Chris earned his PhD in Business Administration with a major in Decision Sciences and a minor in Finance from Saint Louis University (1996). He also received MBA from Saint Louis University (1987).

Prior to CCSU, he taught at Lake Superior State University (2012-14), Pacific Lutheran University (2006-2008), Central Washington University (1997-2006), Pukyong National University in Korea (2003-2004), The University of Findlay (1996-97), and Saint Louis University (1987, 1989-1996).

At CCSU, he served as Assurance of Learning (AOL) coordinator (2016-18), MBA Program director (2018-20), etc., besides multiple committees and task forces. Recently, he served as a director of business studies programs, administering interdisciplinary programs and business minor programs in the School of Business (2021-22). Since Fall 2022, he has served as department chair. In addition, he is serving as VP for the International Information Management Association and on the editorial board of the Journal of International Business Disciplines and the Global Business and Economic Review.

He has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals such as International Transactions of Operational Research, Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and Its Applications, Benchmarking: An International Journal, Evidence-Based HRM, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Journal of Enterprise Information Systems, Academy of Marketing Studies Journal, etc. He has presented over 100 working papers at academic and professional conferences such as Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), Association for Information Systems (AIS), The Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM), etc.Â
