The Director of Human Resources is responsible, among other things, for the following:
Leading in the development and implementation of the personnel policies of the School;
Provision of strategic planning with respect to the personnel needs of the school;
Ensuring timely renewal and termination of employment contracts;
Institute and maintain a system for monitoring and evaluating the performance of all employees by the school and submit reports thereon to the Council;
Ensure that disciplinary action is taken against staff of the college to have engaged in any misconduct identified as an offence under these Statutes, the Criminal Code, 1960 (Act 29) and the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651);
Manage and advise on the collective bargaining process and collective agreements with unionised staff; and
Institute a system for continuing education and in-service training for all employees of the College
