So, what does the PTO do?

Here are some of the activities we do throughout year to raise Money for CCGS.

Meet & Greet (August)  School Supply Drop Off   Food Truck Event

Shortly before school starts, we invite students and their families to meet their teachers, see friends and meet new friends. Drop off School Supplies and Bring your appetite, and money enjoy some delicious Food Trucks. 

Directories 

Near the beginning of the school year, we’ll ask for your contact info to put into our student directory. Then we’ll send the completed list to your childs teacher so you can stay in touch with friends. 

School Store Fundraiser  

This is the easiest way to get money straight to your child's classroom AND they get prizes all at the same time!

Fundraisers-

Restaurant night outs and other fundraisers to help raise Money for Circle Center. 

Classroom Parties - 

As a PTO we help organize Room Parents and volunteers for each classroom to help with classroom parties. We have parties for Halloween and Winter Holiday.

Santas Winter Ball-

Join CCGS families for a Winter Ball. Food Trucks, Raffle Items, DJ and Santas's Special Friends will be walking around for Photo Opportunites.  A Very Special Visit from Santa so make sure you get your photo package when purchasing your Santa's Winter Ball Tickets. 

Holiday Shop-

CCGS students will have the opportunity to shop for family members with their classmates. A family night will also be open to families who would like to shop with their child. 

Teacher Appreciation Week (May)

It’s very important to us to show our wonderful teachers and staff how much we appreciate everything they do for our children. We have a set theme for the week that is expressed in decorations on the doors and in the hallways, in breakfasts and/or lunches we provide, and in small gifts from our students and the PTO. 

Field Day (May/June)

The last week of school we have a Field Day, organized with our gym teachers. The students spend the day doing fun filled activities indoors and out. We help work at the different stations that day.

PTO Meetings (monthly during the school year)

This year our meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00pm in our school cafeteria. We encourage all CCGS parents to attend and share ideas and provide feedback. The meetings are very open and we welcome everyone’s input. 

Family Nights (throughout the year)

PTO hosts several family fun nights each year for our students and their families. These events can include movie nights, game nights, dance parties, skate nights, etc.

Restaurant Nights (throughout the year)

About once a month we have a restaurant night to raise money for the school and give you an excuse NOT to make dinner.

Box Tops (throughout the year)

Every month we collect Box Tops, which earn money for the school. Our parents help count and bag up the Box Tops.
