Christ’s Community Fellowship Church is a non-denominational church built and planted by local men of God in 2002 with great vision and direction. CCF is about helping people know God, follow Jesus, and step into their purpose to go throughout all the nations. We are deeply passionate about the next generation, currently operating a thriving kids ministry and youth ministry. We believe in the absolute authority of the Word of God, and we are firmly rooted in following Jesus and walking in obedience to the Holy Spirit.
Structurally, we operate from a biblical, theocratic government that is Pastor-led and Elder-protected. As members of the Trinity Fellowship Association of Churches (TFAC) in Amarillo, we believe in operating as a local church exactly how God designed it in the Bible. We are seeking a full-time Generations Pastor who mirrors this commitment to scriptural integrity and is passionate about student discipleship, worship leadership, volunteer development, and community impact.
The Generations Pastor at CCF is a strategic, dual-focused pastoral role combining Youth Ministry and Worship Ministry. This combo position is designed for a Spirit-filled leader who possesses a unique blend of musical competence and a deep passion for mentoring teenagers. Operating out of our state-of-the-art facility, this pastor will lead our thriving student ministry on Wednesday nights and shepherd our congregational worship environment on Sunday mornings.
There is a unique beauty to rural ministry when a town operates like a family. Vega, Texas is a tight-knit, family-oriented, and tradition-rich community that proudly celebrates its historic Route 66 heritage and deep Texas Panhandle culture. This is a rare place where neighbors still celebrate each other’s victories, lift one another up fiercely in times of need, and stand firmly together upon the uncompromised authority of the Word of God.
Ministry thrives here because the community still gathers as one. Whether it is coming together under the stadium lights on a Friday night to cheer on the Longhorns or packing out the local hubs, community isn't a buzzword in Vega—it is a daily reality. Because Vega is a growing town, the opportunities for deep, generational ministry are truly endless.
The lifestyle offers the absolute best of both worlds:
Unmatched West Texas Beauty: Experience the iconic, wide-open Panhandle skies featuring the most breathtaking sunrises and golden sunsets in the Lone Star State.
The 30-Mile Buffer: Enjoy the safety, peace, and quiet of small-town life where kids can play outside, while sitting just a brief 30-minute drive down the highway from everything you could ever want or need in the rapidly growing city of Amarillo.
A Faith-First Culture: Partner with a community that respects pastoral leadership and shares a deep, foundational reverence for biblical truth, family structure, and next-generation investment.
If you are looking for a place to put down deep roots, protect your family in a wholesome environment, and step into a ministry setup that is fully loaded for regional impact, you don't just want to take a job here—you want to do life in Vega.
For a ministry family looking to relocate, the community your children grow up in matters just as much as the church you serve. Vega, Texas is home to one of the most elite, highly celebrated public school systems in the entire state. Vega ISD is an A-rated school district that sets a regional benchmark for academic and athletic prestige, driven by a deeply rooted community ethos known locally as "The Vega Standard."
Here, small class sizes ensure that education is deeply personal. The administration—consisting of a unified school board, superintendent, and two campus principals—is entirely dedicated to the individual needs of every single child. Every teacher and coach is fiercely committed to preparing students for their next steps, whether they are stepping directly into the workforce or heading off to a major university.
The proof is undeniable:
National Blue Ribbon Honors: Both the Elementary and Junior High campuses are nationally recognized Blue Ribbon schools.
100% Graduation Rate: Vega High School boasts a perfect, uncompromised graduation rate year after year.
14 UIL Academic State Championships: Proving that small-town focus yields massive intellectual achievement.
Award-Winning Ag Mechanics: A top-tier program cultivating hands-on excellence and leadership.
Championship Athletics: A rich tradition of state titles across various sports programs.
If your heart is to raise your own children in the absolute best school system in the Texas Panhandle—and if your pastoral heart is energized by cheering on your youth students in their biggest passions—then you will absolutely love being a Vega Longhorn!
Imagine stepping onto a campus designed intentionally to be the absolute epicenter of regional youth ministry and community impact. The Generations Building is a massive, cutting-edge 120’ x 60’ modern facility crafted specifically to win, disciple, and mobilize the next generation and the Oldham County region. At its core sits a beautiful, regulation-size basketball court completely wired with a volleyball setup and a climbing wall, flanked by an expansive full kitchen, dual large-capacity classrooms, multiple deep storage hubs, and full men’s and women’s locker-style restrooms equipped with showers.
But the real magic happens when you look up. Overlooking the main court is a stunning 2,500-square-foot upstairs loft designed exclusively to handle elite-level youth culture. This expansive space doubles as a dedicated youth sanctuary and high-energy hangout hub, fully loaded with casual seating layouts, pool tables, four wall-mounted flat-screens, and a concert-grade sound system built to handle full, high-capacity live bands with zero audio compromise.
When the weather turns beautiful, the ministry flows effortlessly outdoors through two massive overhead garage doors onto a beautifully engineered 60’ x 40’ covered patio featuring a premium outdoor kitchen layout.
