The English School of Leaders is now meeting on Mondays 7:00 pm. If you are a Cursillista interested in becoming a leader, joins us for School of Leaders.
What is a Cursillo? A Cursillo retreat is a 3 day weekend centered around the Eucharist and Catholicism. It is a short course in Christianity, and an opportunity for a practicing Catholic to devoted time to encounter one's self, Jesus Christ, and others. You can live a Cursillo only once.
Who can attend a Cursillo weekend? Any practicing Catholic who has all their Sacraments can live a Cursillo weekend.
When can I attend a Cursillo weekend? Men and Women English Cursillo weekends have been scheduled for this year.
Next scheduled weekends:
Women's English Cursillo February 20-23, 2025
Men's English Cursillo April 6-9, 2025
For more information, contact any English Cursillo School of Leaders member or click here to complete an application on line.
What if I live my Cursilo at a young age and I don't remember what it was about, or I lived my Cursillo in a language I didn't understand? You may qualify to live your Cursillo weekend again if any of the two situations apply to you. Check with the Pre-Cursillo Chairman to see if you qualify for a special circumstance.
What is the School of Leaders? The School of Leader is the method used by the Movement to develop future leaders. It is a best way for Cursillistas to put to use their skills and abilities in the name of the Lord. It is open only to those Cursillistas brothers and sisters who have lived their three days weekend.
Cursillo Center is located at 1300 Lantana Rd next to St. Theresa Catholic Church. All Cursillo retreats are held at the Cursillo Center.
