This activity develops a students concept of consequences through a learning story. The activity examines a Dily Wire article related to a home invasion and a 2nd amendment self defense case. It also applies the knowledge of consequences to the repeat offender in the news article. The focuses on expanding the idea of the 2nd amendment beyond home defense and explains a militia with the intended purpose of the 2nd amendment as a deterrent to tyranny.
