The National Digital Library (NDL India) is an all-digital library that stores information (metadata) about different types of digital contents including books, articles, videos, audios, thesis and other educational materials relevant for users from varying educational levels and capabilities. It provides a single-window search facility to access digital contents currently existing in India as well as other digital sources under a single umbrella. It is a project of Ministry of Human Resource Development under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology. . The pilot project is devising a framework that is being scaled up with respect to content volume and diversity to serve all levels and disciplines of learners. It is being developed at IIT Kharagpur. CCCBA Library has Institutional membership of NDL. NDL can be accessed by an individual or institute member equally well. However access to full text content in many cases may require institutional membership. So students are hereby informed to use their NDLI user id and password as provided by the library.
