Like many of my contemporaries, my first sewing project was an apron in Grade 7. From there it went to making clothing for the family. Now I like to create useful items. If not curling or cottaging, you will likely find me singing in the sewing room making curling broom bags, broom head covers, hats (people head covers!) and other items. I think of them as - pillows, purses & pretties.
Several years ago my son decided he was going to make electric guitars. While doing this we realized there was a lot of scrap or cut off wood from shaping the guitars. We decided it might be fun to use that scrap wood and make some cutting boards in the shape of guitars. Since the wood was mostly hardwood like maple, walnut and mahogany, we realized this would make the perfect cutting boards.
We design the boards as scaled down versions of real guitars and have been commissioned to do a variety of guitar designs as well as other shapes like mandolins, cellos and even surf boards. Recently, we even added Curling Stone coaster / bottle openers to our line up.
All No Fret Woodworking products are hand made from hardwood and the boards are edge grain to make it easier on knives as well as reduce any warping. Everything is coated with food safe oil.

A passion and delight with anything glass is the one constant in Terese’s life. The technique, be it copper foil, lead, fusing or sandblasting, may change and evolve, but not the love of glass. Although stained glass will always be a part of her, the focus now is on sandblasting and sand carving on coloured art glass, with subjects ranging from the windswept pine trees of Georgian Bay, the skies of Georgian Bay, to the wildlife in her backyard.
Sean Patrick Dolan’s first novel, My Father’s Secret, was inspired by the Air India bombing of 1985. He cleverly refashions this Canadian national tragedy into a story set during the time of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. His second novel, The Prophet of Frogs Hollow, a work of fiction about a cult that lands in the Georgian Triangle, is due for release in the spring of 2025.
Since 2000, Sean has written professionally for the education community. He has worked on textbook teams at the Oxford University Press and has been both writer and editor for CBC News in Review. He was also the lead column writer for Canadian School Counsellor magazine for almost a decade. Sean lives in Thornbury, with his wife, Sharon Goodland, and their dog, Mulligan. They have two adult sons.

After retiring in 2018, Bev moved from Nobleton to Collingwood. She is an active exhibitor and judge at Ontario Agricultural Fairs in needle arts, paper arts and photography competitions. Her showcase is focusing on handstitched greeting cards, photography cards and knitted clothing and accessories from youth to adult sizes.
My favourite subjects are the beautiful towns, valleys, farms and vistas of the Ontario landscape. Since my inspiration comes from the land at a special moment, which is fleeting, my best work comes from plein air observation. I would like my work to portray the mood of the land, the universality of land rather than one specific place. Hopefully, when viewing my work, a special nostalgia for a similar place will be evoked in each viewers memory.
My love of jewellery has been a forever.
However, some 20 years ago I decided to try my hand at making a few pieces while working with sterling silver.
A life changing happening in my Family convinced me that perhaps I might be able to help the Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital & the Ride to Conquer Cancer by donating "all my profits" from my jewellery sales.
Since that time I have been committed to the Research program at PMCH.
Your support would be greatly appreciated.

George’s inspiration comes from his many excursions in the Southern Georgian Bay region, as well throughout the more northern regions associated with Georgian Bay – Parry Sound, Killarney and Sault St. Marie. He is influenced by Anrew Wyeth, The Group of Seven and Philip Craig.

Whether sculpting clay, hand-pouring candles, or weaving fibre into soft beauty, Andrea creates with intentionality and soul.
Her latest passion—wheel-thrown pottery—has become a new canvas for her creativity. When not coaching keynote speakers and thought leaders as a communication expert, Andrea can be found in her studio, hands in clay, shaping vessels that invite presence and touch.
At this show, Andrea brings a curated collection of handcrafted pottery, cozy fibre pieces, and aromatic candles—each one made with care, clarity, and a desire to bring harmony into the home.
