BOOK TITLE: COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND BLOCKCHAIN IN BIOMEDICAL AND HEALTH INFORMATICS

ISBN: 978-1-032-60470-1(HB), 978-1-032-60480-0(PB), 978-1-003-45934-7(EB)

Biomedical and health informatics are one of the fastest developing domains of the time. These domains are evolving briskly with the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and various computational technologies. Amalgamations of technology in these domains are contributing to provide efficient, reliable, and sustainable solutions to the various issues. As most of the healthcare applications are distributed by nature; so, communication delays, data security, all time availability of data are some of the main challenges faced. Computational intelligence and blockchain technology have been used by an increasing number of industries. Although the applications of these technologies in the domain of healthcare have started to evolve; but, yet to be accepted by this completely. The lack of interest in using these technologies in healthcare implies that stakeholders have serious worries about implementing them in their systems.
