Seeking members:
Membership Committee shall organize and conduct membership enrollment. It shall attempt to recruit as many members as possible. It shall keep a record of the membership of the Association and produce a yearly directory which is distributed to the members.
Public Relations Committee shall seek to develop public understanding of the purposes and programs of the Association. It shall develop procedures by which the Association can present material through various forms of mass media.
Program Committee shall be responsible for planning programs for the year.
Constitution Review Committee shall review and coordinate suggestions received and make recommendations, with the approval of the Executive Board, to the general membership concerning any proposed amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws. A general review shall be made every third year.
Legislative and Professional Development Committee shall inform members of the Association seminars, workshops, courses and legislation affecting school media specialists.
Audit Committee shall consist of three members-at-large selected from the general membership to conduct an annual audit.
Archivist will maintain record of Association history and function as librarian.
Nominations Committee shall be responsible for recommending candidates for each office to be filled that year.
