If you want a wired, studio-grade IEM with customizable tuning for critical listening or long sessions on the go, choose CCA KZ AS24; if you need a wireless stage monitoring system that lets multiple performers hear themselves clearly without cables, choose GOKKO GAF-10. These two devices solve completely different problems: one is designed to be the final link in your audio chain for precision, while the other is a wireless transmission tool built for musicians who need freedom of movement on stage. Picking the wrong one means you'll either have zero battery life when you need it most or no wireless capability when you need to move around.
• CCA KZ AS24: Offers 12 balanced armature drivers and 8-level sound customization for ultimate sonic detail, but requires a wired connection and no active noise cancellation features beyond passive isolation. Best for audiophiles, musicians needing precise monitoring, and travelers who prioritize sound quality over convenience.
• GOKKO GAF-10: Delivers a robust 2.4GHz wireless system with 24-bit/48kHz clarity and up to 30 meters of range, including a transmitter and two receivers for shared monitoring, though it does not include earphones in the box. Best for live performers, church bands, and rehearsal spaces where cable management is a nightmare.
The CCA KZ AS24 is built for people who treat their ears like high-fidelity instruments. With 12 balanced armature drivers per side, this isn't just about hearing music; it's about dissecting it. The design leverages a DLP 3D-printed acoustic chamber that optimizes airflow to minimize distortion, ensuring that what you hear matches the artist's intent rather than the limitations of a standard driver. This level of engineering appeals directly to audio engineers, DJs, drummers, and anyone who needs to hear every nuance in a mix.
What truly sets the AS24 apart is its dual-tuner system with eight-level switches. You aren't stuck with a single factory sound signature. You can independently adjust bass, mids, treble, and ultra-high frequencies using four levels on both the main and auxiliary tuners. Whether you are driving hard-hitting hip-hop beats or tracking delicate classical strings, you can physically switch the response curve to match your preference. This level of control is rare in consumer headphones and places the AS24 firmly in the realm of professional monitoring tools that double as high-end earbuds.

Comfort is also a major selling point here. The ergonomic shape is based on real-ear data, creating a lightweight fit that stays secure during long sessions. The silver-plated OFC cable reduces signal interference, which is crucial for maintaining that pristine audio quality from source to ear. However, because this is a wired solution with a 3.5mm jack, you are tethered to your device. If you are looking for the absolute best transparency mode sleep headphones for flights, this won't be the answer, but if you are looking for over-ear style clarity in an in-ear form factor for a flight where you need deep focus, the passive isolation combined with the custom tuning makes it a powerhouse.
You should buy the CCA KZ AS24 if you value sonic accuracy above all else and don't mind managing a cable. It is perfect for the musician who wants to tweak their monitor sound before hitting the record button, or the traveler who wants to drown out engine hum with pure, uncolored audio. You should skip it if you need wireless freedom or if you are buying for a child who might lose expensive accessories; while the build is durable, the 2-pin connectors and intricate tuning switches suggest a product meant for careful handling by adults or teens with specific audio goals.
The GOKKO GAF-10 serves a very specific niche: live performance and group monitoring. Unlike the AS24, which is a standalone pair of earbuds, the GAF-10 is a complete wireless transmission system. It comes with one transmitter and two receivers, allowing two performers to monitor the same audio source simultaneously. This is a game-changer for guitarists, keyboard players, and singers who need to hear themselves clearly without being tangled in floor cables. The system supports stereo, left-only, right-only, and mute modes, giving each user independent volume control and channel selection.
The wireless technology here is serious business. Operating on a 2.4GHz frequency, it delivers 24-bit/48kHz digital audio with low latency and low noise. You get up to 30 meters (roughly 98 feet) of outdoor transmission distance, which is plenty for a small gig, a rehearsal room, or a church service. The ability to move freely across a stage without tripping over a monitor cable is a massive practical advantage. The system includes a charging case, and the battery life is impressive, with the transmitter lasting up to 24 hours and each receiver holding a charge for 6 hours. This ensures you can run through a full day of services or a long tour setlist without hunting for an outlet.
However, there is a catch that buyers must understand immediately: the earphones are not included in the box. You receive the transmitters, receivers, and the charging case, but you must source compatible in-ear monitors separately. This makes the GAF-10 a platform rather than a complete package. It is ideal for professionals who already own high-quality IEMs and just need a reliable wireless bridge. If you are looking for kids headphones for flights, this system is likely too complex and expensive, as it requires setup and separate earpiece management. But for an adult musician needing a reliable, cable-free monitoring solution, the trade-off of buying separate earpieces is worth the freedom of movement.
The compact clip-on design of the receivers allows them to attach easily to belts, pockets, or guitar straps, keeping the weight off your head. The USB-C rechargeable design ensures you can power up quickly between gigs. This system is built for the chaos of live environments where signal stability matters more than the subtle nuances of a 12-driver array. It prioritizes reliability, range, and multi-user functionality over the granular sound-shaping capabilities of the AS24.

If I were buying these today, I would choose the CCA KZ AS24 for my personal travel and daily listening needs. The ability to customize the sound profile with eight switches and the sheer density of 12 drivers make it a superior tool for enjoying music in any environment, including on flights. It offers a level of sonic control and comfort that a generic wireless system simply cannot match. While the GOKKO GAF-10 is an incredible piece of gear for musicians on stage, the CCA KZ AS24 is the better all-around companion for someone who values high-fidelity audio and doesn't mind a wire. For flights specifically, the AS24 provides the consistent, high-quality experience I need to relax, whereas the GAF-10 is a specialized tool I wouldn't carry unless I was actively performing.
Neither product is explicitly designed as "sleep headphones" with active noise cancellation, but the CCA KZ AS24 offers excellent passive isolation due to its ergonomic fit and 12-driver depth, making it a strong candidate for quiet travel.
