National Night Out
Comanche Blossom Valley neighbors got together to celebrate the neighborhood on Aug 4th, 2026.
Special thanks to guest appearances from the SJSPD and SJFD, Councilmember George Casey, David Ngo from Supervisor Arena's office, Matthew Quevado from the Mayor's Office, and David Heindel from the D10 Leadership Coalition.
Thank you to Las Cazuelas Restaurant for providing food as well as Starbucks on Snell Ave for providing coffee and sweets!
Mulch Spread Part 2
Comanche Blossom Valley neighbors showed up on Saturday, May 9th to finish spreading mulch on the southeast corner of Blossom Hill Rd and Blossom Ave.
Following up the previous event on April 18th, neighbors continued to dig up old dirt and spread the remaining mulch down the corner.
Neighborhood Meeting
This Neighborhood Meeting occurred on Thursday, May 7th, 2026, at Frost Elementary.
Key topics discussed included an update on VTA transit, state of the district, and a report on crime and safety.
Guest members included the Blossom Hill Station Project Team, SJPD LT. Thompson, and Councilmember George Casey.
Tree Plant and Mulch Spread
This event was held on Saturday, April 18th, 2026.
Neighbors worked together to plant trees in Comanche Park as well as dig up old dirt and spread mulch on the southeast corner of Blossom Hill Rd and Blossom Ave.
Guest appearance by Councilmember George Casey.

Dumpster Day
This event occurred on Saturday, March 14th, 2026.
In collaboration with Councilmember George Casey and The Trash Punx, the neighborhood arranged for 7 dumpsters that neighbors could use to dispose of items from their homes and yards properly.
Tree Planting/Waffle Breakfast
This event occurred on Saturday, December 13th, 2025.
Neighbors enjoyed a waffle breakfast held at Frost Elementary before planting trees in the same location as well as along Mescalero Dr.

This meeting was held on Monday, Oct 6th, 2025, at Frost Elementary.
