Our chapter is for central Ohio's statistics, analytics, and data science community (or hub).

The purpose of the chapter is to foster a vibrant community of Central Ohio professionals across academia, industry, and government who work in the fields of statistics, data science, and analytics broadly defined, as well as graduate and undergraduate students seeking careers in these fields. Participation in the chapter's activities is not restricted to ASA members. The chapter provides continuing education and networking opportunities and, in particular, mentoring opportunities for students and young professionals in the early stages of their careers. The chapter conducts community outreach and engagement efforts to increase awareness of statistics and data science, particularly in Central Ohio high schools. The chapter also embraces diversity in the statistics and data science community and encourage participation from underrepresented minorities, including people of color, people with disabilities, veterans, and members of the LGBT community
