I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Economics at University College Dublin, Ireland. I am an affiliate member of the CESifo Research Network in Germany and a member of the Center for Economic Research of the George Washington University in Washington, DC, USA.

I am also part of the Education Committee of the European Economic Association (EEA). The main aim of the committee is to improve the quality of economics education at all levels.

I hold a PhD in Economics and my research focuses on the broad area of applied macroeconomics in the context of expectations, international finance and monetary policy.
