About

Since January 2022 I am appointed as Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Free State  at the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics in Bloemfontein (South Africa). You can also find some information about me here on my university website.

I feel honoured that I was funded until December 2021 by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) within the Walter-Benjamin Program since August 2021. The funded project is on "Perturbation Methods for Abstract Cauchy Problems associated to Evolution Equations" (Project Number: 468736785) and I am hosted by Prof.Dr. Jacek Banasiak at the University of Pretoria.

From on the October 2019 I have been postdoctoral fellow at the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences of the North-West University in Potchefstroom (South Africa) working under the advisement of Prof.Dr. Sanne ter Horst. My research interests are functional analysis, evolution equations, operator semigroups and networks.

Previously, I finished my PhD in the Research Group Functional Analysis at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal (Germany) under the supervison of Prof.Dr. Bálint Farkas.

Before that, I spent one year as PhD student at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). In the course of this, plans changed and I started my PhD in Wuppertal.

My study took place at the Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen (Netherlands) where I received my master's degree (with specialization Mathematical Physics) under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Klaas Landsman.
