LPS Global School celebrated the completion of 75 years of Independence on 15th August 2022 with great patriotic fervour and zeal. On this day the sense of happiness and pride could be clearly seen on the countenance of all the teachers and students as India was celebrating its 75th Independence Day based on the theme,' AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV'.

The program started with flag hoisting by the Principal, Ms Mahuya Mandal, unfurling the Tricolour which was followed by the National Anthem. She addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian to awaken the elixir of energy of independence, ideas and pledges from the festival of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. She also said that the freedom was very precious and it was necessary to preserve it.

The students of LPS Global, the Best CBSE School in Noida paid a tribute to the martyrs as they dressed up as Shahid Bhagat Singh, Shubhas Chandra Bose and many other freedom fighters in a march past. A musical rendition of the national song by the teachers and patriotic songs and dances captivated the audience and awakened everyone's feelings towards our motherland. The flare of cultural programs was followed by a Yoga performance by students which was not just about exercise; it was a way to discover the sense of oneness, with ourselves, the world and nature,celebrating the contribution of India towards Yoga.

This was followed by a prize distribution ceremony in which the students excelling in various activities were also awarded by the principal.

The program ended with the rendition of the National Anthem followed by the distribution of sweet boxes to all the students and staff.
