The main research area of PEL is development of chemical processes based on advanced thermodynamics. Now we are studying acid gas mixture absorption in 2 or 3 blended amine aqueous solutions with electrolyte activity coefficient models (MATLAB in house model), adsorption based separation process (PSA, TSA, SER etc.), and process development, such as NH3 production/cracking, CO2 capture/conversion, and H2 production/separation, with optimization and AI (artificial intelligence) technologies.
