The main research area of PEL is development of chemical processes based on advanced thermodynamics. Now we are studying separation process, advanced chemical process, process optimization, and AI application.
Thermodynamic based chemical absorption based process: carbon capture
Adsorption based separation process: H2PSA, O2 PVSA, H2O PVSA etc.
Advanced chemical process: distillation, chemical looping, extraction etc.
Process simulation and optimization: MATLAB or Python based platform
Artificial intelligence technologies: dynamic simulation or process control
