About BEL

Biochemical Engineering Laboratory (BEL) at Chungbuk National University (CBNU) was started on September 1, 2001. Our current projects are 'Production of biofuels, biopolymers, and biochemicals by high cell density fermentation', 'Production and skin delivery of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN)', and 'Biosynthesis and applications of nanomaterials'.

Our laboratory is very international. We have current and previous members from different countries around the world: China, Egypt, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, Vietnam, and Korea.
