CBEP 2026 had 166 scientist from all over the world, including 107 in person, 59 online, 35 of the total were students. The participants where from 23 countries (Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Holland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Panama, Russia, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, as well as universities and museum from across the US. This diversity was also represented in the  topics of the 110 presentations (69 talks and 41 posters), including fields of climate modeling, stratigraphy, paleobotany, vertebrate paleontology, paleoceanography, microfossil paleontology, paleoecology, AI applications in paleontology, and geochemistry.
