Appointment of ARC Members

ARC recently updated Membership Criteria:

Section II.B.1 of the HDLC Rules, Policies and Procedures:

The ARC shall consist of four licensed volunteer architects and one emerging professional with an architecture degree from an accredited program working in the field of architectural design.

Staff reached out to the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) Louisiana Chapter and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), New Orleans Chapter to request submission of potential candidates

The AIA New Orleans posted the Call for Resumes in their weekly newsletter.

The NO & CBD HDLC received four resumes by the deadline. Having considered all of the resumes, the Executive Director, Bryan Block recommends the Commission reappoint the following ARC members:

Miriam Salas

Robert Boyd

Ashley King

Randy Hutchinson
