Surprisingly, the newly independent New Republic of Burmar did not have a monetary issuer, they used the Myanmar Kyat. The Central Bank of Burmania started as the Burmar Central Bank on July 14th, 2024. It was during the Socialist Republic of the Union of Burmar era, and the exchange rate was 10:1 (BMK: USD). The Electro-Burmar War drained the country of its resources, and the exchange rate was raised to 2100:1, but the market rate was 2200:1. Burmar Central Bank (BCB) was dissolved and was replaced with the Central Bank of Burmar/Bamar (CBB) on July 17th, 2024. Although the war-torn Union of Burmar was split into pieces, the CBB issued notes across 3 different nations, all the result of the Electro-Burmar War. On November 25th, 2024, the CBB issued new notes featuring the new name of Burmar, which is Burmania, and also lowered the rates to 10:1 (Market rate; MKR: 50:1). They also introduced a new currency, the Htetka. After that, lots of demonetizations followed. On January 11th, 2025, the CBB was re-organized to Tamwelandia Bank, the start of the Union of Tamwe. They introduced a new currency, called the Tamwelandia Dollar, although the old notes stayed legal tender, with a lower value. The exchange rate was raised to 200:1 (MKR, 250:1). On January 17th, 2025, the Tamwelandia Bank was replaced with the National Bank of Tamwe, as of the "National Bank of Tamwe (Formerly Tamwelandia Bank) currency permit" by the central government. On September 29th, 2025, the National Bank of Tamwe was renamed the Union Bank of Tamwe as of the "Union Bank of Tamwe Act". The rate was raised to 350:1 (MKR, 500:1). On the 16th of October, the Union Bank of Tamwe announced that the banknotes issued by the National Bank of Tamwe be demonetized and sent back into the treasury for history preserving. On the 11th of November, 2025, the Socialist Republic of the Union of Tamwe fell so the Union Bank of Tamwe (mainly under Burmanian control) reorganized as the Central Bank of Burmania.
