BLOG #3!
What's going on in our lives?
What's going on in our lives?
Well, my life is packed. First School. IT'S DONE!!!!! I have a few school projects, like my Shakespeare project. That was fun. I had to memorize a section from taming of the shrew and act it out with a partner in class! We had, like, the best project out of anybody... Now that school is done, I need to find some work to do. I am going to apply to a farm nearby. That might be a fun job.
If I still have extra free time, I am thinking of getting a D&D group together. What's D&D, you ask? Well, D&D is the most fun role-playing game out there! And all you need is an adventure, dice, and friends. The Dungeon Master, who runs the adventure, narrates the story, and the players play through the story using dice. It goes like this -
DM: Ok, you camp in the misty cliffs of Neverwinter, and while eating dinner, you hear a bloodcurdling scream in the forest. What do you want to do? Mr. Dwarf: I want to stealthily crawl through the forest and figure out what that noise is! DM: Ok, roll a 20-sided die to see how stealthy you are. Mr. Dwarf: Hmm, I got a 6, not very stealthy. DM: Alright, then you accidentally trip on a vine and loudly stumble through the thick foliage.
ANYWAYS, that is how you play! It is lots of fun, and I recommend it to anyone who has an imagination.
Woah, it just occurred to me that in a few years, we will no longer be Christian boys. We will be men. I can't believe this podcast already has a death date. So sad. I have loved doing this even if I don't get my other stuff done on time. And Noah, he is a great guy. he puts up with all my nonsense and gets things done, even when he doesn't want to. I don't think I have ever met a better guy than that. He works so hard. GOOD JOB, NOAH!!!!
Hmmm, I wonder what I should do this summer? If you remember from the last blog, and probably some conversations about it in the episodes; I am going on a mission trip to beautiful MEXICO! That will be fun. I have gone in the past with this group that does evangelism in Chicago. They are great. We stand out in the streets or the subway and try to get into conversations about God with people. We hand out gospel tracts and all that good stuff! I bought a new computer! it is a MacBook air M4 15''! Apple is such a great place to get tech, and they last FOREVER (if you treat it right). I love computers, they are great things. Unfortunately, it seems that people, no matter how connected they are, are getting lonelier! This, once again, is very sad. I do not have a phone, so if you want to contact CB4TRUTH, you will need to use our Email!
Here is a great picture of me! That's another thing about me, I LOVE Studio Ghibli movies. The animation, the music, everything about it is wonderful. The storylines are great too, they make you think about life. Anyway, that's all from me! See you in the next blog or episode! Stay with your brain, ask questions, stay connected, and stay with the Truth!

Hullo dear reader! Once again... Tis I, Noah Boss. What is going on in our lives? TONS of stuff. If you remember, in episode 14, in the beginning with random banter, I said that Parker and I (and also Matthew was too) were learning how to dance at the Crown Point CC. We just completed the course. We had the Soiree just recently, as of writing this, and it was...
AWESOME!!!
Matthew ended up not being able to come to the soiree, which was kinda sad, but everyone had a good time. *At the bottom are a bunch of images from the dance!* We did Swing Dancing, Rumba, Waltz, and Virginia Reel! I may have gotten 4th. But there weren't terribly many people anyways. Probably about 50 or something.
I've recently taken up the other half of the editing to help out Parker. It's really fun, and I also love to create the Thumbnails - a bit time consuming though. Edit: Thank you, Parker, for those kind words in your blog. It means a lot to me!
I've now got 26 lawn clients - its a little hectic. I have not a clue how I will manage all this during the fall when a crap ton of school is needed to be done. But that's a problem for future Noah!
Parker and I joined a Reformed Homeschool Fellowship (RHF) youth group. As the name suggests, it is for homeschooled reformed kids. It meets about every two weeks. It's pretty fun - especially when the host's house has cool trees to climb! It is all in Indiana though, so I've got about an hour drive each time.
Speaking of which... I GOT MY DRIVER'S LICENSE!!! The day after my birthday, also after Easter, I secured an appointment. Unfortunately, I got a 0 on the test.... ITS A GOOD THING IT FOLLOWS GOLF RULES!!! And I didn't even get a hole in one tire! But it was crazy. Here's a picture of my truck at the bottom. LOL I mowed a lot of lawns to get that thing!
I struggle to manage my time schedule... and keep my room clean... but I am working on figuring something out...
So life is picking up. Things seem to be accelerating at an ever changing rate. Life can move so quickly. One moment, I may be 16 years old and working my butt off, the next, I may be finishing my degree and starting a family. And in the blink of an eye, I'd be reaching the end of my life. It all happens so speedy, and we can't let life zoom by like this. This podcast is not forever! I'm going to go to college, if I don't get myself killed before then, and Parker's going to maybe join the air force, and Matthew's gonna start his own business with a friend, or also head off to get a degree. We needn't forget: our time on this Earth is not forever either. Countless people try to pursue success, or try to get rich and die comfortable, or try to rack up as many good deeds as they can. They live for themselves. They do everything they can to live for the present, by using failed methods of the past, or they dwell on things that are only important in this age. They do it for the thrill, for the now, or for what we know is an already lost cause.
Some random dude named Boah Noss once said in a debate: "We mustn't live in the past, we mustn't live for the past, but in the present, for the future." To secure our future, living for ourselves is not the way to do it. No, to secure the future, we must live for something else; for someone else. We have to live for Jesus. CB4Truth's declaration is not one of independence, but a declaration of DEPENDENCE. We must lean on, and live in, and for, Jesus Christ. Staying with HIM secures our future and our happiness. So, when life gets so fast-paced, turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face, and the things of Earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace. Only dependence on HIM is the True Way to Life. (See what I did there?) As always... what we can conclude from this is to stay with the Truth!

Yo yo YO! What's up everybody? Welcome back to another Update! (Like I have anything going on in my life). If you're a weekly listener or read these updates, send an email to cb4truth@gmail.com saying Matthew sent me here! AND, pick these four emojis 😉😃🤟🤩to send with the message. (If you order them in a certain order which I'm thinking of, we will reach out and invite you to be a part of an episode!!) Anyway, back to my life.
I just acquired another lawn client and will hopefully be offering fertilizer treatments along with my mowing and odd services. My search history is completely crammed with lawn application and fertilizer questions and comments. Besides that, Parker and I's school is out! (The 8th) And so we're done... FINALLY!!! Then, in a month, my family and I are off to Honduras for our missions' trip which is going to be awesome I'm going to be helping with the kids and stuff! So interesting and so much different from America it is. Right now, I'm learning Spanish which is surprisingly way easier than Latin. Who woulda' thought?
But before this month is done is still have two hockey tournaments with the Midwest Blackbirds. DUN DON DUNNNN!! *Thunder Crashes* We got one 16u tournament and one 18u tournament with them; both which I'm really excited to play in and enjoy learning the game of hockey. We also just acquired a workout set which includes some weights, bench, squat rack, pullup bar, ropes, and a rowing machine. Bye, bye planet fitness! Now I'm working out every other day and slowly feeling stronger in the process! When hockey ends, I plan to workout every day in place of practice.
In a few weeks or so, our good friend Levi, who we already had on the show, will hopefully accompany me for a job spreading and moving rocks. We might also have a mulching job to do as well!! So we are gettin' goin.' Life is packed, and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me. I look forward to serving in the church in Honduras. Please keep me and the mission in your prayers. I'm so happy to be able to work on CB4Truth. I'm gonna stick with them until the end. So don't forget to stick with our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Don't neglect staying with the Truth!
Peace out!

Here are some pictures of us from the dancey thing!
Parker has chosen to refrain from sharing too many pictures of himself at this time. So it is a little unbalanced.
We strive to uphold his privacy and his personal needs in our show and website.
Stay with the Truth.
