Community Board 1 S.I. Cultural Affairs Committee Mission Statement

This committee advocates for celebrating, preserving, and supporting the cultural heritage and identifying cultural destinations in the Staten Island, CB1 area. The expectation is that this will contribute to the community’s identity, enrich the quality of life and strengthen the social fabric of the community in an equitable, diverse and inclusive manner. This may involve identifying and promoting historical sites, landmarks, public spaces, and cultural traditions.

It also serves as a conduit for any of our cultural sites to contact us with any questions, comments or concerns that we may be able to assist them with.
