There are a number of accommodation providers close by. Players may consider the following hotels:

There are also plenty of Airbnb options in Scarborough and surrounding suburbs (Doubleview, Innaloo, City Beach, Karrinyup, Woodlands) that may be suitable for large groups in particular.

Perth CBD, while slightly further away, has a significant number of accommodation options to cater all tastes and budgets. The travel time from Perth CBD to the venue is approximately 20 minutes by car, and 30-40 minutes by public transport.

Parking

Participants can choose to park undercover, on-site, for a fee of $10 per day.

Guests staying at the hotel can choose to park on site for a fee of $15 per night.

Instructions:

Guest will drive in either entrance and park anywhere. The camera will scan your licence plate and open the gate automatically.

                Entrance off West Coast Highway and into the main Hotel driveway, entrance is at the end of the driveway. 1.9 metres clearance

                Entrance under Lookout Bar (glass balcony) on the Esplanade. 2 metres clearance.

When they come up to the conference room, there will be a QR code in a frame which they will need to scan. Operations team usually put this out from morning tea onwards.

A web page will open up for DRIVO, and they will need to put in their licence plate, and dates.

                So, they will put the same date if just there for the day. Or they can put the 1st to 4th if there for all four days.

They will then be asked for their name and email address.

Finally last thing is card number, each guest puts in their card details so DRIVO will then charge their own card for the number of days they are there, and send them confirmation and receipt of booking.

Each person parking needs to make sure they do this before they drive out at the end of the day. If it is not done and they go to the exit gate, the boom gate will say they owe money per hour for their parking (so about $60.00), so just make sure everyone does it so they are not overcharged!

Those that book accommodation will do their parking at check in with the reception team.

Transport

The Airport Train Line opened on 9th October 2022. This provides players with another mode of travel between the airport and their accommodation.

Here are some public transport options, for players travelling to the venue from Perth CBD:

(1) Take the Joondalup Line train from Perth Station to Stirling Station, and then transfer to bus 410 or 421 which will take you directly to Scarborough Beach Bus Station Stand 4 (Stop Number 27661). From there it is a 50 metre walk to the main entrance of the Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough. Total time: just over 30 minutes.

(2) Take the Joondalup Line train from Perth Station, and alight one station earlier at Glendalough Station. Then transfer to bus 990 which will take you directly to Scarborough Beach Bus Station Stand 4 (Stop Number 27661). Total time: approx 35 minutes.

(3) Take bus 990 direct from Perth Busport Zone B to Scarborough Beach Bus Station Stand 4 (Stop Number 27661). Total time: approx 35-40 minutes depending on traffic.

For AU$5.10, travellers can purchase a 2-zone ticket which is valid for two hours and will take them anywhere around Perth. Smartrider cards can be purchased or recharged at any train station. Travellers using a SmartRider card receive a 10% discount on all fares. Once you obtain a SmartRider card, you can register it in your name and set up AutoLoad to have it recharge by direct debit automatically, and increase the discount to 20% on all fares (i.e. AU$4.08 maximum fare).
