Application Information 2025-2026:

The following information below is regarding how to apply, the application process, the interview process, the selection process and other important information. 

Applications will open on Monday April 14, 2025 @ 10:30 AM:

• Applications will go live on our website.

• Applications will go live on our social media pages with links in our bio's. 

• Applications will be available in your schools main office (more information to come).  

• Applications will be sent out through email to all current members (internal applicants).

• Applications will be posted on the CavUnity Google classroom for all current members (internal applicants).

Students at the following schools can apply: More schools will be added to this list in the coming days as we continue to expand. Please continue to check back for updates.  

• Cole Harbour District High School (Head Office)

• Citadel High School

• Eastern Shore Consolidated School  

Internal & External Applications: Applications will open at the same time for both internal and external applicants. Please see the specific information below on internal and external applications. 

• Internal Applications:  

  • All current members (internal applicants) are required to submit an application for 2025-2026. We will be using a new membership software to track member profiles next year which requires all member s to submit an application. All internal applicants will not be required to have an interview if you are reapplying to your current position, however a brief meeting may be scheduled for a quick orientation. 

• All members who are interested in applying for other positions within CavUnity must submit an application and complete an interview prior to being considered for the position. All current members (internal applicants) have seniority over all external applicants. 

• We recommend you apply ASAP to be guaranteed the position your are applying for. All applicants will receive a position and role within CavUnity, however your top selection on your application is not guaranteed.

• All current members who refer a friend to apply (submit an application) will be entered into a draw. Please note you will receive one entry per referral. Your friend will have the option on their application  to indicate that you referred them. 

• External Applications: All external applicants are required to submit an application and complete an interview. 

  • We recommend you apply ASAP to be guaranteed the position your are applying for. All applicants will receive a position and role within CavUnity, however your top selection on your application is not guaranteed.

Applications can be completed through the following methods:

1. Applications can be completed by scanning the QR code located on our posters throughout the school. 

2. Applications can be completed through the link in our bio on our social media pages (Instagram & Facebook). 

3. Apply via the embedded Google Form on our website. 

4. Apply via email y emailing recruitment@cavunity.org for a copy of the application to be sent to you. 

5. Apply by picking up a paper copy of the application form in your schools main office, the completed application can be emailed to recruitment@cavunity.org or sent to Cole Harbour District High School (2 Chameau Crescent). 

How to Apply: To apply you will have to chose a method to complete your application which are listed above.

Application Process: 

1. Complete and submit the application. You will receive a confirmation email when your application has been received to be reviewed by members of our team. 

2. All applicants will be selected for interviews and will be notified through email (the email provided in the submitted application). 

3. All applicants will receive confirmation of their position between Monday June 30, 2025  - Monday September 8, 2025. We are hoping to have the process completed much sooner depending on the amount of applications. Please check back for updates to our timeline. 

   • • Please note that all applicants will receive a position within CavUnity whether general member position or executive; this will be determined following the receive of your application (preference and what's available) and your interview. 

Interview Process: 

1. Once your application is received you will be contacted through email (the email provided in the submitted application) to schedule an interview. 

2. Interviews will take place through one of the following methods:

   • • Online via Google Meet (preferred method).

     • In person at a CavUnity school (at lunch or after school). 

3. The interviews are mean to get to know you as the applicant and meet to talk to member of our executive leadership team. During the interview you will be asked questions similar to the application and some additional questions may be asked. 

4. Following the interview you will receive confirmation on your position between Monday June 30, 2025 - Monday September 8, 2025. We are hoping to have the process completed much sooner depending on the amount of applications received. Please check back for updates to our timeline.

During the registration and recruitment season our team works incredibly hard around the clock to ensure all emails, messages and phone calls are returned and answered, please allow 24-48 hours for a response from a member of our team.

Selection Process: Please see the break down of our selection process. This process is broken down from start (when your application is received) to finish (the final selection of all positions and roles). 

1. Applications received and reviewed. 

2. All applicants will be interviewed. 

3. Interview evaluations will be reviewed. 

4. Selection of all applicants will take place. 

   • All applicants are selected for the best role based on their experience, skills and interview evaluation.
