Caversham Primary School (WA) has maintained an active Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association for many years, as a vital part of its school community. The school itself was established in 1904, celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2024, with a long history of community engagement. Our school has a strong, historical community feel, with the current buildings in use since 1988.

“A Parents and Citizens Association is comprised of the parents, teachers and other interested citizens who have a common interest in promoting the education of our children. It helps to bring about communication and cooperation between students, teachers and parents and works to foster community interest in educational matters. It provides extra facilities and amenities for the school and works to provide a pleasant environment in which our children can gain the most benefit from their education.”

Services we provide

Representation & Voice: Our P&C offers a forum where parents and carers can discuss school policies, educational matters, and community ideas. We work closely with the school to ensure families have a voice in shaping the learning environment. We host a General Meeting once each term in the school Library.

Fundraising: We suppprt our school by organising events in to provide resources, facilities and amenities for the school. Check out our Achievements page for more details!

Uniform Shop: Our volunteers run the school’s official uniform shop onsite at the canteen. We keep prices affordable for families while raising a small profit that goes straight back into supporting school needs.

School lunches: Our P&C introduced school lunches back into the school after the canteen closed. They distribute lunch orders every Wednesday.

Social media platform: We engage with the community through event updates, second hand uniform sales, local events, and answering general questions on our facebook page. 

Governance: Often incorporated, allowing us to apply for grants and manage, with approval, school-based services.

Our Term 3 2026 General Meeting had a strong focus on the future of our uniform shop. Unfortunately, we’ve been operating at a net deficit across 2025 and 2026, so a few important changes were approved to help us return to a sustainable position. The below are applicable as of 28th August 2026

To ensure our pricing reflects true costs, all uniform items will now follow a standard not‑for‑profit model: stock cost + GST + 15% uplift, rounded to the nearest 50c. This means some items will increase slightly, while others will increase more, as all products are now treated consistently.

We will also stop restocking generic royal blue items once current stock sells out. These can still be purchased from department stores and must continue to meet the school’s uniform policy. This change allows us to focus our capital and storage space on Caversham Primary branded uniform items.

We know these are significant changes. All proposals were shared with P&C members seven days prior to the meeting and were passed by majority vote. Every vote genuinely matters, and we encourage families to attend future meetings if they’d like to be part of these decisions.

1. Go to quickcliq.com.au 

2. Register as a parent, you will then receive a verification email to activate your account

3. Click "ADD STUDENT". Ensure you complete all of your child’s details before clicking "NEXT"

4. Add items and pay using a credit or debit card.

5. Your items will then be delivered to your child's classroom, or picked up from the front office (for new students only.)

We are always looking for new volunteers which will help us expand our Uniform Shop opening hours. If you would like to volunteer to help in the Uniform Shop or uniform classroom deliveries, please email cavershampandc@gmail.com 

*NOTES*: Pull over jumpers were ordered on 5th May due to be delivered on 26th May. All sizes arrived except size 4. We have been in contact with Permapleat who believe they will arrive in September. We have zip-up fleece jumpers and wet weather jackets available in size 4 until then. We apologise for the inconvenience. 

Lunch orders are available to order every Wednesday only. Cut-off time to place a lunch order is 8:30am for same-day delivery.
