[2026.09.02] 오홍근 박사과정생이 한국연구재단의 「2026년도 이공분야 박사과정생연구장려금지원사업」 신규과제에 최종 선정되었습니다.이번 선정으로 2026년 9월부터 2028년 8월까지 2년간 총 5,000만 원의 연구비를 지원받아 독립적으로 연구과제를 수행하게 됩니다.

🔬 연구과제명:「열역학적 상 분리 억제를 위한 급속 분무 열분해 기반 고엔트로피 NASICON 양극재 개발」

본 연구는 고엔트로피 소재의 다원소 혼합 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 열역학적 상 분리를 급속 분무 열분해의 속도론적 제어를 통해 억제할 수 있는가라는 질문에서 출발합니다.

분무 열분해 공정의 짧은 반응시간과 연속공정 특성을 활용해 고엔트로피 NASICON 양극재를 합성하고, 고도분석을 통해 공정–구조–반응속도–전기화학 성능 간의 관계를 규명하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 오홍근 학생의 과제 선정을 진심으로 축하하며, 앞으로 2년간 의미 있는 연구성과와 함께 자신만의 연구 방향을 가진 독립 연구자로 성장하기를 기대합니다.

A Ph.D. student in our lab, Hong Geun Oh, has been selected for the 2026 Doctoral Student Research Encouragement Program supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea. Through this award, he will receive KRW 50 million in research funding over two years, from September 2026 to August 2028, and will independently carry out the following research project.

🔬 Research Projeect: “Development of High-Entropy NASICON Cathodes via Rapid Spray Pyrolysis to Suppress Thermodynamically Driven Phase Separation”

This research begins with a fundamental question: Can thermodynamic phase separation arising during multicomponent mixing in high-entropy materials be suppressed through kinetic control using rapid spray pyrolysis? By taking advantage of the short reaction time and continuous-processing nature of spray pyrolysis, the project aims to synthesize high-entropy NASICON cathodes and, through advanced characterization, clarify the relationships among processing, structure, reaction kinetics, and electrochemical performance. Congratulations to Hong Geun Oh on this achievement. I look forward to seeing him produce meaningful research outcomes over the next two years and further develop into an independent researcher with his own scientific direction.

[2026.08.25] 박승근 교수가 중앙대학교 정년보장 심사를 통과하여 2026년 9월 1일부로 교수로 임용되었습니다. 2024년 3월 부교수 승진 이후 2년 6개월 만의 교수 승진으로, 연구업적의 양적·질적 우수성과 학교 기여도 등을 인정받아 정년보장과 함께 교수로 임용되었습니다. 앞으로도 활발한 연구 및 교육 활동을 이어갈 예정입니다.

Prof. Seung-Keun Park has successfully passed the tenure review at Chung-Ang University and will be promoted to Professor, effective September 1, 2026. This promotion comes only two and a half years after his promotion to Associate Professor in March 2024, in recognition of the excellence of his research achievements, both in quality and quantity, as well as his contributions to the University. He will continue to pursue excellence in research and education.
