The poet is in.
What is it that ails you? Allow Dr. Catullus to give you "something for the pain."

I've organized the following works of Catullus by emotion, so that hopefully the poems prescribed to you soothe your afflictions.
My name is Light Dohrn, and I'm a senior at the University of Chicago Laboratory High School.
I'm very much an amateur translator, but I've been studying Catullus for a semester in AT Latin Literature and have translated many of his poems. The majority of the pieces on this site were translated as a part of my AT Latin curriculum — others that I felt were important to understanding Catullus's corpus were translated with the help of internet resources (see bibliography for exact sources).
I believe that Catullus understood quite a bit about human emotions and has remained deeply relatable for readers even over 2,000 years later. I made Catullus, M.D. as my semester final project for class, and as a way for people nowadays to utilize the soothing emotional wisdom of Catullus's work. I hope it makes you feel seen.
