This Privacy Policy describes how Bomera Software (we, us, our) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the mobile application Cat Translator (the App).

This Policy applies to the App and to information processed in connection with the App. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or content that you may open through links or an in-app browser, which are governed by their own policies.
3. Information we may collect or receive
Depending on your device settings, App version, and how you use the App, we or our service providers may process categories such as the following.
3.1 App usage and diagnostics. This may include app events and interactions such as feature usage, session information, and performance metrics. It may also include crash logs, error reports, and diagnostic data to maintain reliability and security.
3.2 Device and technical identifiers. This may include device model, operating system version, language or locale, time zone, and similar technical information. It may also include mobile advertising-related identifiers where permitted by the platform and your settings (for example, the Google Advertising ID on Android), and install attribution or referrer information where used.
3.3 Purchases and subscriptions. If you purchase subscriptions or other digital items through Google Play, Google processes payment and certain transaction data. We may receive limited purchase-related information from Google (for example, subscription status or transaction identifiers) as needed to provide access to paid features.
3.4 Communications with us. If you email us at bomerasoftwareinfo@gmail.com, we process the content of your message and your contact details to respond and handle your request.
3.5 Content you provide in the App. If the App allows you to record audio, upload files, or otherwise submit content, we process that content only to the extent needed to operate the feature you use, unless we tell you otherwise in the App. Do not submit sensitive personal information unless a feature explicitly requires it.
4. How we use information
We use information for purposes such as providing, operating, and improving the App and its features; analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve user experience; security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection; customer support and responding to inquiries; and complying with legal obligations and enforcing our terms.
We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of selling data for money. Where required by law, we will provide additional disclosures (for example, for sales or sharing as defined under U.S. state privacy laws).
5. Legal bases (where applicable)
If laws such as the GDPR apply, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, to provide the App and features you request; legitimate interests, for example improving the App, analytics compatible with privacy expectations, security, and product development, balanced against your rights; consent, where we ask for consent (for example, for certain optional analytics or marketing communications, if offered); and legal obligation, where processing is necessary to comply with the law.
6. Sharing with service providers
We may share information with vendors that help us run the App, subject to appropriate safeguards and contracts where required. This may include providers for Google Firebase (for example, Analytics and Crashlytics) and related Google services used in the App; Google Play for distribution, updates, and in-app purchases; and other infrastructure, analytics, or support tools we may add from time to time. We will update this Policy when we materially change our practices.
These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review Google privacy documentation for Firebase and Google Play.
7. International transfers
If you are located outside the country where we or our processors operate, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries where data protection laws may differ. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) or rely on permitted derogations.
We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Crash and analytics data may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form for longer periods.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete certain information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can manage many device-related choices in your Android settings (for example, resetting advertising identifiers or limiting ad personalization where available). For requests related to personal data we hold as a controller, contact bomerasoftwareinfo@gmail.com. Some requests may need to be directed to Google for data processed primarily on Google systems (for example, certain Play account data).
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, in the App or by email).
