Instructional Model

The module follows the ADDIE instructional design model to ensure a structured and effective learning experience. 

the ADDIE model is a systematic instructional design framework that organizes the development of educational programs into these five phases:

• 1. Analysis

  2. Design

  3. Development

  4. Implementation

  5. Evaluation

The model is grounded in systems theory and behaviorism and was originally developed in 1975. While often considered linear, the ADDIE model is adaptable and iterative, allowing instructional designers to revisit phases as needed (Spatioti, Kazanidis, & Pange, 2022). 

Following the ADDIE model this model will include:

• Clearly defined learning outcomes per topic.
  
  

• Differentiated teaching strategies catering to different learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners).
  
  

• The use of multimedia teaching aids such as slides, videos, and interactive activities.
  
  

• Online and practical assessments supported by marking memorandums.
