CATS2026 welcomes research at varying levels of development as well as position papers. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

Identification of cultural variations that are relevant for AIED activities and systems

Influences of culture on the AIED research production
Computational modeling of individual cultural traits, of past and present cultural contexts, of cultural groups, and of dynamics between cultural groups

Intercultural evaluation of AIED systems
NOTE:
It is mandatory that each submission clearly discusses its relations (existing or expected) to all of the following three dimensions:
education, technology, and culture
Papers should be 4 to 6 pages long, including references.
Papers should be anonymized for review.
All submissions must be in Springer format. Papers that do not use the required format may be rejected without review. Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers.
Submissions must follow Springer policies on publication (including policies on the use of AI in the authoring process).

Any participant (onsite or remote) to CATS2026 must be dully registered to the AIED workshops. People fully registered to the AIED2026 main conference can freely attend the CATS Workshop. We request at least one author of any accepted paper to be registered.
