In 2022 I was a Public Engagement with Research Associate on the Talking Memory Project at the Ashmolean Museum. The project culminated in a series of sessions provided by each of the research associates offering a lecture followed by an art-making session for older people living in Oxford.
For my session, we delved into the ancient Minoan and Mycenaean civilisations through an Octopus Jar found at the Palace of Minos at Knossos. I discussed themes of remembering and reimagining the past, storing memories, and the role of materials in learning before we dug into our own stored memories while I instructed the group on how to make our own decorative clay jars.

I was interviewed about my DPhil research by Alice Hazell, an undergraduate student, for the OxPods podcast series aiming to make academic research in Oxford accessible to a wide audience.

In 2023 I collaborated with Robyn Mason from the School of Archaeology, resident artist Miranda Creswell, and fellow DPhil student Anna Barona to install a year-long art piece at Missing Bean Cafe in Oxford. The piece invites viewers to scan QR codes to learn about clay, cognition, and wellbeing.
