Alice Illustrations

In 1986 Laurie Conrad collaborated with Cathy Kramer to create a children's book called Alice, about love. Laurie wrote the text and Cathy drew the illustrations.

The makings of this beautiful book languished in a plastic bag for 39 years among Cathy's drawings until her brother-in-law,Chip Kramer, discovered them in May 2025 when going through Greg & Cathy's belongings after Greg's death in 2024. 

The Cornell Campus Store Big Red Bag contained 19 - 14" x 17" color illustrations by Cathy each with text, written by Laurie, paper-clipped to every illustration. The whole book was there.

Chip contacted Mariette Geldenhuys, Laurie's spouse. Laurie passed away in 2016. We decided to release the book in pdf for all to see and to also make it available in print through Lulu.com.
