History of the Bible

The Christian Old Testament overlaps with the Hebrew Bible and the Greek Septuagint. The New Testament is a collection of writings by early Christians, believed to be mostly Jewish disciples of Christ, written in first-century Koine Greek. The Jews of Alexandria, the first bible was first translated in the 3rd Century BC. The first bible translated into English was translated by William Tyndale (1494–1536 )
