What is "Catholic Creatives Huntsville"?

Our first Meet & Greet was in May 2021. Up to 20 Huntsville Catholic writers, illustrators, painters, musicians, photographers, etc. came to introduce themselves and meet those who also share the Catholic faith. People were asked what they hope to see from the group with responses varying from "community," "painting critiques," to "learning." Event was casual, lasting ~1hr with people optionally staying afterwards for food or to chat.

About Our Parent "Catholic Creatives" Group

Roughly Dec 2012 in Texas, a handful of media professionals met to discuss church bulletins. This quickly evolved into them forming a community of "Catholic Creatives" with the goal of wanting both community and to make the Catholic Church known for beautiful art once again. This is the movement they define as "The New Renaissance."
