Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe and affordable summer camp for families where campers can socialize, exercise, and have fun! Rooted in the Catholic tradition, we encourage campers to enjoy recreational sports and activities while practices sportsmanship, kindness, and compassion.
History
The Catholic Sports Camp was founded in 1980 by the late Fr. Tim Hirten in St. James Parish, in Seaford. Fr. Tim established the camp to develop athletes while teaching the Catholic faith in the community. Recognizing the need for more summer activities for children, Fr. Tim expanded the program to neighboring parishes with the help of his brother, Terry Hirten, and sisters Nancy McAtasney and Maureen Agostinacchio. Since then, the Catholic Sports Camps have been a trusted family run program offered throughout Nassau County, Suffolk County, and Queens.

If I should win, let it be by the code,

If I should lose, let me stand by the road
And cheer as the winners go by.
