Hi, I'm Catt, a CIS student from Lake Superior College.

I am a non-traditional student that has always had a love for tech. I have been wanting to get into the IT field, and just recently, that dream became a reality.

I have always been interested in computers; starting with my first forays of programming on a Commodore Vic 20 with a PC Magazine. I was never successful with it, but that spark always stayed with me.

Prior to this, for 18 years, I had been a CNC Programming Engineer based on my experience in the field. That all changed when I moved to Minnesota. I decided to start fresh, started at LSC, and here we are.

I am blessed to be doing what I do in a field I had only dreamed about previously. I never want to quit learning, and eventually want to end up in the cybersecurity field. The sky's the limit!
