In Loving Memory of Mr. Mike
July 13, 1971 - January 9, 2009
Mr. Mike, the eldest child of Ms. Richardson, worked at Caterpillar Clubhouse during college breaks and for several years during some very difficult times. The children loved his enthusiasm; his positive attitude; the respect he showed them; his way of teaching them to be respectful; his ability to let them shine; his knack for making sure each child was having a good time and engaged in something; he made learning fun; he taught life lessons; and he didn't mind looking and sounding silly to hear them laugh. If you asked them how Mr. Mike made them feel, they would say "He made us feel good about ourselves! Mr. Mike had a profound impact on both the children and the staff. He has been truly missed. Mr. Mike's daughter, Peyton attended Caterpillar Clubhouse for several years. Thank you Mr. Mike - Love Lasts Forever.
