About me

I am a PhD student in Information Engineering and Science at the University of Siena, under the supervision of Prof. Monica Bianchini and Prof. Franco Scarselli.

During my PhD program, I had the opportunity to visit Concordia University in Montréal under the supervision of Prof. Simone Brugiapaglia in Spring 2025.

I am currently visiting Prof. Carola-Bibiane Schönlieb and her research group at the University of Cambridge (March to June 2026).

I studied Mathematics and Applications at the University of Camerino, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in 2021. I then moved to the University of Siena, where I obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and started my PhD program in 2023.

Research Areas

My research focuses on Mathematical Foundations of Generative Models, with particular interest in Topological Data Analysis, Optimal Transport and the problem of learning Data Manifolds.

I have also worked on Graph Neural Networks, particularly with applications on Bioinformatics.
