Transferring to another parish for 2022 Catechism
Any young people request for transferring to another parish for Catechism in 2022, please write in to Catechism@svdp.sg requesting for a transfer letter stating the below:
1. Name of child, Level and name of Catechist in 2021.
2. The reason for transfer,
3. Parish transferring to.
We'll prepare the letter and revert back to you once it's ready.

The Catechetical Ministry is still looking for people who have passion to sow the seed to our young people.

Suspension Of Face-To-Face Catechesis Until Further Notice
In view of the current post-Covid19 situation and measures are in place, please note the suspension of face-to-face catechesis remains in effect until further notice.
Our Bishop, in consultation with his team of experts, will determine when it is safe to resume catechetical sessions in the parish.
Meanwhile, we will continue with the current online Zoom platform or short videos / presentation for all catechising sessions in 2021 till further notice.

Introduction
The main purpose of catechesis is to put the young people not only in touch but also in communion and intimacy with God. In other words, catechesis helps the young person to encounter God and following this encounter, to choose to respond to this encounter by becoming a witness to the Gospel.
