1. Overview
Catch the Falling Stars is a casual mobile game. We designed the App to work primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal information.
2. Information we collect
The App may store the following information locally on your device:
• Player name you choose when saving a score (optional; used only for the local leaderboard)
• Game scores, combo values, and the date of saved scores
This information is stored on your device using on-device storage. It is not uploaded to our servers.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not intentionally collect:
• Email addresses or phone numbers
• Precise location data
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Payment or financial information
• Advertising identifiers for personalized ads (the App does not include ads at this time)
4. How we use information
Local leaderboard data is used only to display high scores on your device so you can track your progress.
5. Internet access
The App may request Internet permission as part of the standard mobile app platform. This is not used to send your leaderboard name or scores to us. If Internet connectivity is used by the device or platform (for example, app updates through Google Play), that is controlled by Google Play and your device settings.
6. Data sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your local game data with third parties because that data stays on your device.
7. Data retention and deletion
Leaderboard scores remain on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored leaderboard data.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is a casual game suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because scores are stored only on the device and we do not operate user accounts, no personal data is sent to us.
9. Security
We rely on your device’s built-in storage protections for locally saved scores. No method of storage is 100% secure, so please avoid entering sensitive personal information as a player name.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
