Mumbai Khiladis and Gujarat Giants will square off on August 14 as part of the opening day of Ultimate Kho Kho Season 1. The matchup between Chennai Quick Guns and Telugu Yoddhas will follow. The league’s debut season’s schedule was made public on Tuesday.
Amit Burman, the chairman of Dabur India, and the Kho Kho Federation of India are promoting Ultimate Kho Kho. The Badminton Hall in the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Pune, Maharashtra, will host the inaugural season of the competition, which will feature six teams.
The nation’s first franchise-based Kho-Kho league, which will include an exciting format and two matches per day throughout the league stage of the competition, will provide fans with a visual spectacle. Starting at 7 o’clock, the live broadcast will begin.
During the 30-match league stage, which will run until August 31 and feature double-games between every side, the Top-4 teams advance to the playoffs. On September 2, the Eliminator and Qualifier 1 will be played, and on September 3, Qualifier 2. The conclusion is set for September 4.
Top-2 teams will square off in Qualifier 1, with the victor advancing directly to the championship game. The third and fourth-ranked teams, on the other hand, will compete in the Eliminator for a spot in Qualifier 2, where they will face the Qualifier 1 losers. The winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 will compete in the final.

The Eliminator and Qualifier 1 will be played on September 2, while Qualifier 2 will take place on September 3. The final is scheduled for September 4.

The Eliminator, on the other hand, will see competition between third and fourth-ranked teams for a place in Qualifier 2, where they will play the loser of Qualifier 1. The final will be played between the winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2.
