Ja'Niah Patterson is an aspiring physician scientist from Abbeville, South Carolina. She is interested in science, academic research, and helping others in her community. She will graduate from Abbeville High School this spring. In the fall, Ja'Niah will begin her freshmen year at the University of South Carolina.
Ja'Niah was admitted to several colleges, and she chose South Carolina due to its strong research opportunities and off-campus learning experiences, such as study abroad programs. She plans to major in biology with a minor in psychology.
Isabella Hubenette is a high school student from Alexandria, Minnesota, with a strong interest in psychology and mental health. She is completing her sophomore year at Alexandria High School and will graduate in spring 2028.
Outside the classroom, Isabella plays softball and enjoys weightlifting. After high school, she hopes to attend a university to major in psychology and pursue a career as a counselor or clinical psychologist.
