Thank you for using Catalog Maker. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information when you use it on an Android device.
Catalog Maker is designed as an offline first application. Your catalogue information remains stored on your device. The App connects to the internet to download catalogue design template preview images, support Google Play In-App Updates, process Google Play purchases, collect anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics, measure app installs and app usage through the Meta (Facebook) SDK, deliver optional notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), provide optional tutorial videos, allow you to contact support if you choose to do so, and provide optional access to the Catalog Maker web version through Google/Firebase authentication and premium entitlement verification.
Catalog Maker stores the information you create within the App, including but not limited to:
Product details
Product images
Categories
Prices
Inventory information
Business information
Business logo
Generated catalogues
Generated PDF files
This information is stored locally on your device using Android's Room (SQLite) database.
We do not upload, synchronize, or store your catalogue data, product information, business information, generated catalogues, or PDF files on our own servers. Anonymous analytics information may be collected through Google Firebase Analytics as described in this Privacy Policy.
If you choose to use the optional PC access feature, authentication-related information is processed by Firebase Authentication, and your authenticated account identifier may be used by our secure backend to verify your premium entitlement. Your catalogue data is not uploaded as part of this process.
Catalog Maker uses the Android Photo Picker to allow you to select images for products or your business logo.
The Android Photo Picker grants the App access only to the specific images that you choose. The App does not request broad access to your photo library, scan your media files, or access photos that you have not selected.
No photo or storage permissions are requested by the App.
Notifications
On devices running Android 13 or later, the App requests notification permission before sending notifications. You may choose whether to allow or deny notifications at any time through your device settings. Denying notification permission does not affect the core functionality of the App.
The App uses an internet connection for the following purposes:
Downloading catalogue design template preview images hosted on Google Firebase Storage.
Supporting Google Play In-App Updates.
Opening optional tutorial videos hosted on YouTube.
Allowing you to send support requests using your preferred email application.
Processing purchases and subscription verification through Google Play Billing.
Collecting anonymous usage statistics and app performance information through Firebase Analytics.
Delivering optional notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
Measuring app installs, app activations, and app events through the Meta (Facebook) SDK to help evaluate and improve advertising campaigns.
Providing optional Google/Firebase authentication when you choose to use the PC access feature.
Securely verifying your Google Play premium purchase with our backend when linking your premium entitlement to your web account.
Your catalogue data, business information, product details, generated catalogues, and PDF files are not transmitted to our servers.
Images selected using the Android Photo Picker remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them.
The App downloads catalogue design template preview images hosted on Google Firebase Storage so you can browse available catalogue layouts.
These template images are created and provided by us. They do not contain your personal information or catalogue data.
No user-created content, product information, business information, generated catalogues, or PDF files are uploaded to Firebase Storage.
The App uses Google Play Services to support features such as Google Play In-App Updates.
Google may collect limited technical information required to provide these services in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

The Meta SDK may collect limited technical information such as device identifiers (including the Android Advertising ID where available), app events, and basic device information in accordance with Meta's Privacy Policy.
We do not use the Meta SDK to collect, upload, or share your catalogue data, product information, business information, generated catalogues, or PDF files.
