Catalina Martínez
I am a researcher in science and innovation policy and economics at the Institute of Public Goods and Policies of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC-IPP) in Madrid.
My research interests lie primarily in the analysis of science and technology policies, strategies and actors, with a focus on technology markets, internationalization of patent protection, academic inventors, research careers and science-industry links.
Before joining CSIC, I worked for several years at the OECD Directorate of Science, Technology and Industry in Paris and at an economic consultancy on competition economics in London and Brussels.
