I have been involved in the study of Lyman alpha emission since my PhD. Lyman alpha traces the HI gas and can be used to study the gas distribution in an interacting system of galaxies. In this project, we analyse ALMA and MUSE data of overdensities of galaxies at z>4
WILDTHING, Wide-area Investigation of Ly𝛂 emission Dissipating Through Intergalactic Neutral Gas
In this project, we designed a survey of Lyman alpha emitters at z=4.5 with observation from the DECam@Blanco CTIO. Also, we developed a simulation to prove the effect of the IGM on the visibility of Lyman alpha emitters. The simulation will reveal in which density and kinematics condition of the IGM, the clustering of Lyman alpha emitters is favoured
The environment can play an important role in galaxy evolution. In this project, we take advantage of multiwavelength data to discover overdensities and to study star formation and the quenching of star formation in them. Our results are in favor of a scenario in which AGN feedback can halt the star formation not necessarily in high-density regions
