Effective date: October 1, 2026
ShotLog is an injection logbook developed by Castles Trip ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to the information you enter in ShotLog.
ShotLog does not collect any data. There is no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone, and we never see it.
To work, the app keeps the following information on your iPhone:
- Your course: medication name, dose and unit, injection schedule and time, dose steps, and the injection sites you turned on.
- Your log: date and time of each injection, dose, injection site, notes you add, and whether an injection was on plan, shifted or skipped.
- Settings: reminder preferences, app lock preference and similar options.
This information may relate to your health. It is stored only in ShotLog's private storage on your device, protected by iOS data protection. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
- We don't have an account system and don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
- We don't run servers that receive your data.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don't include third-party SDKs.
- We don't sell, share or use your health information for advertising or any other purpose.
- ShotLog does not read from or write to Apple Health.
Reminders are local notifications created and scheduled on your iPhone. They are not sent through any server. By default, the medication name is not shown on the lock screen; you can change this in Settings.
If you turn on app lock, iOS verifies your identity. ShotLog only receives a yes-or-no result and never has access to your face data, fingerprint or passcode.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Subscription status is checked on your device through Apple's StoreKit. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you back up your iPhone with iCloud Backup or to a computer, the backup may include ShotLog's data, as it does for other apps. These backups are managed by Apple and by you, and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to them.
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports. These reports contain technical information about the crash and do not include the data you enter in ShotLog. You can turn this off at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
Because your data exists only on your device, you are always in control:
- Export: you can export your full history as a CSV file from Settings. You choose where the file goes.
- Delete: you can delete all data from Settings at any time. Deleting the app also deletes all of its data from your device.
We don't hold any of your personal data, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. If you have questions, contact us at the address below.
ShotLog is a logbook. It does not give medical advice and does not recommend, calculate or change doses. All values are entered by you as prescribed by your doctor.
ShotLog is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change how ShotLog handles data (for example, by adding optional iCloud sync), we will update this policy and the effective date before the change is released.
