Section 2: Major (u1600 CS)

Chess Scotland Allegro gradings published (not 'live') for 2024-25 will be used

Entry fees: £25 (£23 Chess Scotland member), Junior (16 or under on 21 June 2025): £20

Entries by Wed 18 June - Late entry fee £5

Prizes are based on a total entry of up to 60 – if more entries are received further cash prizes will be added.

Entries and results will be displayed on Chess-results.com

Castlehill Chess Club reserves the right to take any measures deemed necessary

to ensure the smooth running of the event including:

Increase or decrease prize money

Transfer entrants between events

Split or merge events depending on numbers

Refuse entry without assigning a reason
