The corporation does not require members to live in certain star-systems and they may choose their own play times. Members are free to explore any of the skill sets available in New Eden at their own pace, in addition to participating in both scheduled and unscheduled activities, as long as their actions do not conflict with these policies. It is important that all members are aware that the restrictions laid out in the policies allow us to fulfil our mission while providing a suitable environment for new members. All members are free to leave the corporation at any time, no regrets, with the full expectation that personal property will not be withheld.
We don’t lie, cheat or deceive. Our word is trustworthy. In times of war, strategic and tactical considerations may require temporary departures from this concept from the perspective of our enemies, but our allies and other members should never be given doubt about our commitment to operate with integrity. This includes actions such as honouring agreements. Any member caught scamming alliance or coalition members will be dismissed. We ARE part of a pirate alliance, but internally we should treat each other with respect.
When they first join EVE, members are usually focused on advancing their skills, establishing a viable personal economy and generally learning how things work. As experience and knowledge levels increase, the members who were once new find that they are able to support the next generation of new pilots. We expect the majority of our members to naturally progress in this activity, and those that choose to stay with the corporation for longer periods often find this role very fulfilling and a primary reason for remaining.
We are not a "safe space", but members are expected to be respectful. There will be no tolerance for personal attacks or abuse. Spamming channels should also be avoided. Property rights of others, both members and the community, are always to be respected in all forms. Personal attacks in local chat are to be avoided at all costs.
For all members of the corporation, actions which breach the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) or Terms of Service (TOS) for EVE Online as set by CCP, are prohibited. Examples of these are account sharing and purchasing of ISK or in-game items for real money. Any member found to have engaged in any actions forbidden in the EULA/TOS will be immediately removed. In the event that a member has mistakenly breached the EULA, they are encouraged to petition CCP themselves via the normal channels to resolve the issue. Similarly, if a member has reason believe another player is violating the EULA/TOS, they are encouraged to petition them, and must not take any action in-game. Violations of the TOS, such as baiting in rookie systems, will result in being dismissed.
Our alliance is heavily dependent on TeamSpeak and Slack. Almost all communications are conducted on these platforms. All members should be registered in the Panic Attack alliance site, and have these platforms available at a moments notice.
While being in TeamSpeak at all times is not required when you are online, it is recommended, especially if you expect alliance support in low security space. Independent operations CAN be conducted without being in TeamSpeak, including solo mining. However, all corp and alliance operations will be conducted with comms in TeamSpeak. Not being in comms is a fast way to die. TeamSpeak also encourages a sense of community that ties our corp and alliance together.
Slack is the offline communication platform for the alliance. All fleet operations, corp communications, and announcements are conducted in Slack. Please ensure you have visibility to this platform. It is HIGHLY recommended that you install Slack on your favorite mobile device, so you will get alliance notices for operations or personal communications.
We are an NBSI corporation. If you have set up your overview according to corporation standards:
All out-of-corp alts are required to register with the alliance for blue status. Otherwise you are not safe.
If you accidentally engage and kill a "neutral alt" for an alliance member, you are covered. We should try to make right on these types of incidents, but it is the responsibility of the alt owner to register the pilot as blue. Be nice about it (from both sides), usually its a mistake. To prevent these types of events from happening, it is highly recommended that any neutral alts be both in the in-game intel channel, as well as join our standing fleet. Communication can prevent these incidents entirely.
The following actions require executive (Director/CEO) approval, due to potential impact to the corporation...
As we are part of a PvP-focused organization, corporation members may incur penalties that will drive their Security Status negative. This is expected, and no repercussions will be implemented by the corporation. Please be aware of the impact of low security status to your ability to operate in high-sec space.
You may fly in fleets with members of other corporations. Please remember that in these fleets our Rules of Engagement are still in effect. Just because your fleetmates can shoot the target does not mean you can. Remember, if you are on-grid during the fight you may be regarded to be a set of eyes (and thus fair game).
Fleet operations may not be streamed or recorded without explicit permission from the Fleet Commander, and must be on a 5-minute delay and with any intel obscured. Fleet participants must be made aware of the intent to stream or record before joining the fleet.
Loot from corporation wrecks should be collected and given back to the owner where possible. When a fleet ends, look at the ships lost on your fleet. Using killboard values, split up loot so that people who lost a ship get at least some loot to help cover their loss (up to the price of the ship). Be fair. You may show preference to ship types, but not to individual pilots. Anything remaining after this should be split between fleet members, or can be donated to the corporation.
The exception to this is alliance/coalition strategic operations. All loot from these engagements goes to fund alliance operations, and must be collected/submitted to alliance officials.
In order to reflect actual activity of the corporation, inactive members (not logged in for over 2 calendar months) are periodically dropped, with no penalties. In the event that a member is expecting to be inactive for some time and are likely they will be removed by this procedure, it is requested that they drop from the corporation themselves, to save administration overhead. It is important to note that removal due to inactivity does not mean a member cannot return once they become active again - they simply need to re-apply using the normal methods, and titles can be awarded again once the member returns.
All chat channels or mailing lists using the corporation name or for corporation projects must be created by the CEO.
Members are reminded to remain civil and report any issues to Directors or the CEO immediately. During fleet operations there is a strict no-talking-in-local policy. Fleet Commanders may allow a 'GF' (good fight) in local after a fight at their discretion. During fleet operations there is a 'no chatter' restriction on the designated TeamSpeak channel for the duration of the operation. Communications must be kept clear for reporting. Fleet Commanders may soften this at their discretion.
Members are not authorized to post on the 'Corporations, Alliances and Organizations Center' of the EVE Online forums unless given explicit permission by a Director or the CEO. Members can post and take part in other external discussions, e.g. on the official EVE forums, Reddit, Twitter or elsewhere. However please note our Code of Conduct, specifically being honest, treating all pilots (in and out of corp) with respect - remember you are representing our corporation to the world. Please make sure you only speak for yourself as an individual, not for the corporation as a whole; if you feel a certain discussion requires Director or CEO input please bring it to the attention of the management. Please also be aware of the risk of supplying intel to other entities when posting, and restrict your comments accordingly.
Any questions on or clarifications of the above rules should be referred to a Director or the CEO. The CEO is the dictator of the corporation, and final arbitrator of all decisions/disputes.
Failure to follow the above rules may result in one or more of the below consequences.
