PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: September 22,2026
INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by Nikita Infotech ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and describes how we collect, use, maintain, disclose, and otherwise process information in connection with Cast to TV: Screen Mirror (the "Application") and any related features, services, or functionalities (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy applies to information that may be collected from users ("User," "you," or "your") while accessing or using the Services, including information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be associated with an individual ("Personal Information"). It explains the categories of information we may collect, the purposes for which such information is processed, and the measures we take to help safeguard your information.
Cast to TV: Screen Mirror is a screen mirroring and media casting application designed to enable users to mirror their device screen, cast supported photos and videos, and control compatible television devices from their phone. The Application does not manufacture, own, operate, or control any third-party television, streaming device, or casting hardware, and does not host or supply any broadcast, streaming, or media content of its own. Users are solely responsible for the compatibility of their devices and for any content they choose to mirror or cast.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use, and processing of your information in accordance with its terms. If you do not agree with any provision of this Policy, you should discontinue accessing or using the Services.
We process information solely for legitimate business purposes, including operating, maintaining, securing, improving, supporting, and enhancing the functionality of the Application. Your use of the Services is also subject to our applicable Terms and Conditions, which should be read together with this Privacy Policy.
We are committed to maintaining transparency regarding our data handling practices and protecting your privacy. Where applicable under relevant laws, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or otherwise manage your information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at: playgrowth.experts@gmail.com
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect limited information in connection with your use of the Services, solely to the extent necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the functionality of the Application.
At present, the Application does not require users to create an account or provide personal contact information such as their name, email address, phone number, or postal address in order to use its core features. Accordingly, we do not knowingly collect such information directly from users.
However, certain information may be collected automatically or with your permission when you access or use the Services, including the following:
Technical and Device Information
We may automatically collect technical information relating to the device used to access the Application. Such information may include, without limitation:
Device model and manufacturer
Operating system version
Application version
Device language and region settings
Device identifiers, including the Advertising ID (where available) or App Set ID
General device configuration information
This information is used to ensure compatibility, improve performance, diagnose technical issues, and enhance the overall reliability of the Application.
Network and Local Device Discovery Information
To support screen mirroring and casting, we may collect limited network-related information, including:
Internet connection status
Network type (such as Wi-Fi or mobile data)
Information about compatible casting devices detected on the same local network via SSDP/mDNS discovery
Approximate location derived from your Internet Protocol (IP) address, which may be processed by our third-party advertising and analytics providers for fraud prevention and coarse ad delivery, independent of any device permission
This information helps discover nearby compatible devices, optimize connectivity, improve casting performance, and troubleshoot network-related issues. The Application does not request or use device Location permission, and does not track or store your precise or real-time GPS location.
Screen and Audio Capture Information
The core function of the Application is to mirror your device's screen to a television or compatible casting device. When you start a mirroring or casting session, Android requires your explicit, per-session confirmation before screen capture begins.
Once confirmed, the Application captures your screen's visual output in real time, and, where applicable, your device's system audio, and transmits this content directly to the television or device you selected over your local network. Because this feature mirrors your entire screen, it may display content from other applications, notifications, or on-screen text while a session is active.
We do not record, store, upload, or otherwise retain this screen or audio content on our servers. This content is used exclusively to enable the live mirroring or casting session you initiate, and only for its duration. Microphone/audio capture is limited to system audio for casting purposes and is not used to record ambient sound for any other purpose.
Photos and Media Access
The Application allows you to select photos and videos stored on your device to cast to a compatible television. Media you select is transmitted directly to the target device to enable playback and is not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
On Android 13 (API 33) and above, this is supported through limited, media-specific permissions (photos and videos only). On Android 12L (API 32) and below, this is supported through broader storage permissions, which are also used to read and write temporary files needed for casting.
Usage and Interaction Information
We may collect information regarding how you interact with the Application, including:
Application launches
Session duration
Screens viewed
Feature usage
Casting and mirroring session activity
Device pairing and connection activity
This information is collected in an aggregated or analytical form and is used to understand user behavior, improve functionality, and enhance the overall user experience.
Log and Diagnostic Information
When you use the Services, certain diagnostic and technical information may be collected automatically. This may include:
Internet Protocol (IP) address
Device event information
Application performance data
Crash reports
System activity
Error logs
Date and time of requests
Such information assists us in monitoring application performance, identifying technical issues, improving stability, and maintaining the security of the Services.
Notifications and Session Alerts
While a mirroring or casting session is active, the Application runs a foreground service and displays a persistent notification, as required by Android, to keep you informed that screen or audio capture is in progress. If you grant notification permission, the Application may also send notifications relating to application updates, feature announcements, or other service-related communications. You may manage or disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
The Application may also use device vibration to provide brief feedback for in-app alerts, such as confirming a successful device connection. This does not involve the collection of any personal information.
Third-Party Services
Certain information may also be collected and processed by trusted third-party service providers that support the operation of the Application. These providers may include services used for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising, such as Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, and Google Play Services. Such processing is carried out in accordance with the respective privacy policies of those providers.
Sensitive Information
We do not knowingly collect or process sensitive personal information, including information relating to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, health information, biometric information, genetic data, or sexual orientation. Because the screen mirroring feature may display whatever is visible on your screen during an active session, we encourage you to avoid mirroring screens containing sensitive personal information, such as banking apps or password managers, unless you intend to display that content on the connected television.
Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If we become aware that such information has been collected inadvertently, we will take reasonable steps to delete it promptly. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us using the information provided in this Privacy Policy.
DATA RETENTION
We retain information collected through the Services only for as long as it is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating, maintaining, securing, improving, and supporting the functionality of the Application.
As the Application does not require users to create an account or directly provide personal contact information in order to access its core features, the information we retain is generally limited to technical, diagnostic, analytics, and usage-related data collected automatically through the Services and our trusted third-party service providers.
The retention period for different categories of information may vary depending on the nature of the information and the purpose for which it was collected. For example:
Analytics data may be retained in accordance with the retention settings configured for Firebase Analytics.
Crash reports and diagnostic information may be retained in accordance with the retention policies of Firebase Crashlytics.
Advertising-related information may be processed and retained by Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
User preferences, connected device history, and application settings may be stored locally on your device to support the functionality of the Application. Such locally stored information may be removed if you clear the application's data or uninstall the Application, unless otherwise preserved by your device's backup services.
Media selected for casting is not stored on our servers and is not retained by us in any form.
We may retain certain information for a longer period where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or misuse, protect the security and integrity of the Services, or enforce our legal rights, agreements, and policies.
When information is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of such information in accordance with applicable legal requirements and industry practices.
Where permitted under applicable law, you may request the deletion of your Personal Information. Upon receipt of a valid and verifiable request, we will take reasonable steps to respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements, subject to any obligations that require us to retain certain information.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Information collected in connection with your use of the Services may be transferred to, processed, and stored on servers located in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those applicable in your jurisdiction.
Such international transfers may occur when information is processed by our trusted third-party service providers that support the operation, maintenance, security, analytics, advertising, and improvement of the Application. These service providers may operate data centers or infrastructure in multiple countries.
Where Personal Information is transferred across international borders, we take reasonable measures to help ensure that such information receives an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable data protection laws. This may include relying on contractual safeguards, standard contractual clauses, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms where required.
By accessing or using Cast to TV: Screen Mirror, you acknowledge and understand that your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in countries outside your country of residence, to the extent permitted by applicable law and as necessary for the operation of the Services.
We make reasonable efforts to work only with reputable third-party service providers that maintain appropriate technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and security of the information they process on our behalf.

Information collected through trusted third-party service providers, including Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, and Google Play Services, is processed in accordance with their respective privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your Personal Information. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your Personal Information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
We may disclose information collected through the Services only under the circumstances described below or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

Aggregated and De-Identified Information. We may use and disclose aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual for purposes such as analytics, research, product development, service improvement, and reporting.

PERMISSIONS AND DEVICE ACCESS
To provide the functionality of Cast to TV: Screen Mirror, the Application may request access to certain device features and permissions. These permissions are requested only when necessary to support the operation, security, and functionality of the Services.
Depending on your device and the features you choose to use, the Application may request the following permissions:
Screen Capture (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION). This is the core permission that enables screen mirroring. When you start a mirroring or casting session, Android displays a system prompt asking you to confirm that your screen may be captured. Once confirmed, the Application captures your device's screen output in real time and transmits it directly to the television or casting device you selected, so that it can be displayed there. Screen content is not recorded, stored, or uploaded to our servers, and is only transmitted for the duration of an active casting session.
Microphone / System Audio (RECORD_AUDIO). Used only to capture and transmit system audio during an active screen mirroring or casting session, so that sound from your device (such as video or app audio) plays through the connected television. This permission is not used to record ambient sound through your device's physical microphone for any purpose unrelated to casting, and audio is not stored or uploaded to our servers.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE). Allows the Application to keep an active mirroring or casting session running reliably in the background, with a persistent notification indicating that a session is in progress, as required by Android.
Internet (INTERNET). Allows the Application to access the internet for casting connections, retrieving updates, displaying advertisements, and supporting analytics and diagnostic services.
Network State (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE). Allows the Application to check current connectivity status (Wi-Fi, mobile data, or offline) to manage casting connections.
Wi-Fi State (ACCESS_WIFI_STATE). Allows the Application to retrieve information about the current Wi-Fi connection to discover and connect to compatible TVs and casting devices on the same network.
Change Wi-Fi State (CHANGE_WIFI_STATE). Allows the Application to enable or adjust Wi-Fi settings where needed for device discovery and casting.
Change Wi-Fi Multicast State (CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE). Allows the Application to receive multicast network traffic, required for SSDP/mDNS-based discovery of TVs and cast-capable devices on your local network.
Photos and Videos (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO — Android 13/API 33 and above).Allows you to select photos and videos from your device gallery to cast to a compatible television.
Storage Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Android 12L/API 32 and below only). On older Android versions, these permissions allow the Application to read and write media files needed for casting, as a predecessor to the more limited media permissions used on Android 13 and above.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS). Required on Android 13/API 33 and above to display the ongoing mirroring or casting session notification, along with app updates or service announcements.
Vibration (VIBRATE). Allows the Application to trigger short vibrations for in-app alerts and feedback, such as confirming a successful connection. This permission does not involve the collection of any personal information.
You may deny or revoke any of these permissions through your device settings at any time. Restricting certain permissions, particularly screen capture or audio, will prevent the Application's core mirroring and casting features from functioning.
DATA SECURITY
We recognize the importance of protecting your Personal Information and are committed to implementing reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to safeguard the information processed through Cast to TV: Screen Mirror.
We maintain security practices intended to help protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction. These measures may include secure communication technologies, access controls, system monitoring, software updates, and the use of trusted third-party service providers that implement appropriate security safeguards.
Information collected through the Application is processed only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and is accessible only to authorized personnel or trusted service providers who require such access to perform services on our behalf.
While we make reasonable efforts to protect your information using commercially accepted security practices, no method of electronic transmission over the Internet, wireless communication, or electronic storage is completely secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information transmitted to or stored through the Services.
You are also responsible for helping protect your information by maintaining the security of your device, keeping your operating system and applications up to date, and using appropriate security features available on your device.
In the event we become aware of a security incident affecting Personal Information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the incident and, where required by applicable law, provide appropriate notifications to affected users and relevant authorities.

The Application may integrate, interact with, or provide access to third-party services that support the functionality, performance, security, analytics, and monetization of the Services. Any successor or acquiring entity receiving such information will be required to process and protect the information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
If a business transfer results in a material change to the manner in which your Personal Information is processed, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice where required by applicable law, including updating this Privacy Policy or providing notice through the Application or other appropriate communication channels.
